Race Retro 2010 was celebrating the Centenary of Alfa Romeo in style. The entrance foyer contained a 1935 Alfa Romeo 8c 2900 P3 Monoposto and a 1938 Alfa Romeo 8c Tipo C 308, with the pair valued at an estimated £5million.

On entering the main hall, the first stand you saw was the Alfa Romeo Owners Club stand. This was one of a pair of stands the club had in the main display hall. This stand contained most of the Vintage Alfa Romeo's with a racing heritage. Their other stand was further in to the hall and contained a more up to date Alfa Romeo Grand Prix car. Guest of honour on the stand over the weekend was Bruno Giacomelli, ex Alfa Romeo Grand Prix driver, who took time with the fans to sign autographs and pose for pictures.

The show also celebrated several other landmark dates with 30 years of the Audi Quattro, 40 years of the London to Mexico World Cup rally and 60 years of the Norton Featherbed Manx motorcycle

The outdoor action over the weekend all took place on a new circuit laid out within the show ground site. The new 1/2 mile tarmac circuit was situated much nearer the halls then in previous years and to add to the excitement, an artificial jump was added half way along the main straight. There was much improved spectator viewing all the way around the course as well. Before the rally cars went out on each session, the British Historic Kart club gave a demonstration of historic karts performing around a short loop within the rally course.
