The Classic Motor Show at the NEC proved a great success with 5 Halls packed full of exotic and classic cars and Motorcycles and with access to the MPH show a further Hall full of high performance super cars. The Classic motor show stands are run by car clubs instead of manufactures, so similar cars may appear on several stands, but the exhibition management usually arrange similar clubs to be located near each other. The show also offers a huge autojumble for classic car parts as well as memorabilia stands.
This years show proved very popular with large crowds attending on all three days. Every classic car type that you can imagine were on display. The car clubs take great pride in their displays and stands, and they are always manned by knowledgeable experts who are more than happy to talk cars or bikes. The show always has interesting little special items tucked away on stands, and part of the experience is to find the special and unusual vehicles, as well as admiring the variety of classic car designs.
